AMARENDRA MOHANTY
Amarendra holds a master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in commerce. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of Indirect Taxation in the GCC and India. He has a good working experience for a long period in the field of Indirect Tax (VAT, Service Tax, Excise Duty and GST) with various multinational organisations in India like IndiGo Airlines, Sony India and Dominos India. He was also activity engaged in the GST implementation on his last assignment for a large organisation in India.
He has played instrumental roles in field of Tax advisory and compliance (VAT, Excise Tax and ESR) with many consulting firms in the GCC region since the implementation of VAT and Excise Tax in the region. He has been actively and independently engaged in various Tax implementation projects for various key sectors i.e., Real Estate, Manufacturing & Trading, Health Care, Education, Construction, Automobile, Oil & Gas, Food Service, Logistics & Shipping, and IT services etc in GCC region (UAE, Bahrain, KSA and Oman). Also, he has been handling various Tax Audits and refunds assignments independently dealing with various Tax Authorities of the GCC region in all these years.
